Signs of guilt?

What are some things that can be seen and heard when a person is feeling guilty and not being forthcoming about what they are feeling? Me asking this may seem immature but being in the situation takes away my objectivity...thus I need your help.

you would shower your partner with flowers or any other gifts that you know would make them happy...or leave things around so they can catch you and know why your guilty_
