I have quite a bit of new clothing that I bought as a large wholesale lot (200 pieces) What is the best way to sell to maximize my profit? Some of it is really nice -- jeans, tops, capris. Some of it is wierd and out of style. I am a little regrettful of buying it and would like to at least like to get out of it what I put into it -- suggestions on the best way to try and sell? Should I try to sell in larger lots, or as individual items or another way? Any positive suggestions would be greatly appreciated. (Also, at present, I do not have a manniquin, so suggestions on how to take a good photo without one would also be nice.)

♥ ♥ the larger the lot the more shipping will be, so try small lots and some single items with the offer of combined shipping and make it a good deal on shipping so you will get more offers.. just hang them on a hanger, hang that somewhere where you can get a photo...or you can lay them out on a bed or something like that...♥ ♥

Since it's alot of stuff you could try out some lots, try to sort them by desiger and size rather than tops bottoms, etc.. It's always a hit or miss so if your lot doesn't sell you mayneed to change the items around a bit..
I find that selling individually does produce more money in the long run but you will also incur more fees so take that into consideration as well. eBay has set prices with their fees so there are certain ways to avoid paying higher than necessary. For example if you were to start your auction at 9.99 your fees would be lower than staring than starting it at 10.00. :)
i myself do not have a mennequin either, but just be sure to take clear pictures (I lay my items flat or hang them on the wall) and be extra attentive to detail in your descriptions. Mention features of the clothing (ex: zippered leg opening, sequin straps, etc..) and take measurements. Most people are very concerned with measurements because they do not have the item right there to try on. This gives them a better idea of whether or not it will fit.
Hope this helps some, best of luck to you!

put each piece on a hanger and hang it over a door to take the photo. you may want to take a closer photo of the fabric or a certain detail, like a bow in the back. describe each piece in great detail. list each piece individually. it's more work, but things will sell better that way. start your prices really low. i have sold tons of clothes and shoes on ebay and had good luck.

Have someone model it, then take a picture....Just don't include the person's face in the picture, only the clothing that you are selling,
