I am recording a album because my dad's friend owns a recording studio. I am going to sing songs from artists for this one, and the next one I will make my own songs. Does anyone have any ideas of what songs I could sing. I have a voice kind-of like Pink. I'm an alto. Your ideas would be greatly appreciated.

To anu, I'm think I'm good or I wouldn't be making an album. I take singing lessons, have been in talent show and am in a choir.

Wow that is awesome! Pink is really cool. I am sure you can sing anything that you set your mind to. Try something original that you made or something from Pink, or maybe a girl rock band like Heart.

try singing songs that dont go too high...if ur voice is like pink's u could sing high because all of pink's songs go into the higher notes.
u can start with slower songs, but songs such as 'u + ar hand' would suit ur style more.
P.S.u shud've been more specific abt when u started singing and how good u r !

Oh man...You should do one by Pink...she totally rocks. Maybe throw in some different stuff to show your versatility. Like Macey Gray.

i sing too! i'm kinda like kelly clarkson.
hmm...do get the party started, it's by pink. pick some of her songs. what about....avril lavgine, keep holding on. or...katherine mcPhee's over it. Nelly furtado songs are easy, and Christina aguileira.

How about 'hips dont lie'. Try it out its gonna be great. Yes I know it is Shakira who sung it but still try it out.
