After all the threads writing off Arsenal, and saying we had no chance , what of Liverpool, apart from the goal I can't remember Almunia making a save. Liverpool champions , what a joke. You wouldn't of thought Liverpool were playing at home.Apologies to the spurs supporters if you were watching the game... must have been painful.

Yes I'm Arsenal supporter and I have respact for Liverpool fc, I always have. Fair play to the kop for their demonstration, but this thread is in responce for all that wrote off Arsenal before a ball was even kicked. That was a brilliant result for us, but in return we'll let you beat us in the egg cup tie next week.

Tuan, I don't hate Liverpool at all. If they'had beat us today I'd rather they won the fa cup then some others, I done this thread because we were written off by a lot of scousers, that's all. No hate, just rubbing it in.

I am a Spurs fans so let me say something neutral.
I watched the whole game on TV, Liverpool dominated the ball for over 65% of time. Arsenal set their back four very deep, always got 5-6 men around the box, giving the scourers no chance. Rosicky found the gap and scored 2 good goals, Henry's goal is just a sheer solo performance as a world class striker.
I wonder why Liverpool used Dudek as a goalie? I thought he's left??? didn't see him quite a while. Quite frankly,at least 1 of the goal can be saved if they use Reine. Dudek was too slow.
Liverpool didn't play ugly football even if they lose, at a point I thought it might be a 2-2 after Kuyt scored. See how arsenal suffered in at least 20 mins in the 2nd half. But if you cannot handle a top speed counter attack you just lose.
OK, Spurs have been bidding Dirk Kuyt for 2 seasons but he chose to sign for Liverpool. All I can say is Kuyt is the star man yesterday, the determination after he scored. I wish he signed with Spurs.

Again, hats off to Liverpool. They sing their hearts out for the Hillsborugh victims. They kept singing even when their team is losing. Everyone who respects football as a sports, respects Liverpool.
Ok, I might not a neutral at all, because I do have huge respect for them, although Spurs lost 2 games to Liverpool this season :-(

I am also an Arsenal fan, and watched the whole game on TV. Didn't think Liverpool where a joke, but i thought Arsenal's game plan worked perfectly.
They never allowed Liverpool any time on the ball, and our back 4 sat quite deep. This allowed Liverpool to push a little further forward than they would normally have done, which left a few gaps between there back 4 and there midfield. Thomas Rosicky expoited these gaps superbly, and deserved his two goals.
The 2nd half saw Liverpool pin Arsenal back, and although Kuyt scored, I could always see Arsenal adding a 3rd on the break. It was a bad mistake by Carragher to let in Henry for the third, but didn't he take it well.
I don't think Liverpool are having the season they anticipated, but they have got a really good signing in Kuyt. I think he is going to be awesome for them next season.
Respect to all the scousers for singing there hearts out when the game was already lost, its good to see true supporters, rather than the so called hangers on who go to games and leave with 15 minutes of the game left.

Well done to Arsenal today, they played brilliant and Liverpool are still a quality team and were far from a joke. The problem they had was to get a shot on target, to win matches you must put the ball in the net and Arsenal did it 3 times tonight. Arsenal had their chances and took them, that was the difference.
Liverpool will probably bounce back on Tuesday night and show what a quality team they actually are.

Hardly a joke, Liverpool had most of the game. Arsenal defended well and caught Liverpool on the break for the third and killer goal...I also think that the demonstration may have played a part in Liverpool's below par performance. No disgrace, Liverpool were the better side for most of the game.

I'm a Liverpool fan, and I'm usually fair to the other side but Liverpool were dominating arsenal the whole game, credit to rosiscky though, good goals.

I guess you hate Liverpool so much, but even MU defeated by team that people never heard of in Carling Cup. Beside, loosing to Arsenal is not a shame.

In the beggining Liverpool had the upper hand but when Arsenal scored they died down. Go Arsenal!

OK hats off to Arsenal, Liverpool were not a joke.

I thought the "Justice For The 96" was awesome. I've never known a Liverpool crowd to sing uninterrupted for so long.

Even though we lost we weren't shite.

Arsenal and Liverpool are both jokes at the moment. One joke had to win the game at some point.

It only a game folks.

But then, I'm an arsenal supporter so I'm just happy lol.
Shame Cesc didn't play today though :(

Henry-The Legend lives on.

Also, do you not think that Walcott is youth personified? I'm only 18 but he looks like a baby!
