Right Click on the Powerpoint page .
select option 'Background'
select the combobox (of color)
In Combobox, select the option "Fill Effects..."
In "Fill Effects..." Choose tab named "Picture"
In Picture tab their is a button "Select Picture.... "
Now Select the Picture and click OK button.
Now Click "Apply to All" if U want Same background in all Slides otherwise Click "Apply "

If the picture is going to be the background on all of your slides make sure you insert it on the Master template. Otherwise your file size will be huge and unmanageable.

To do this, select View, Master, Slide Master.

Right-click on slide and choose Background. Select down arrow on the dialog box (it should be white). Select Picture tab. Click on Select Picture and browse to the picture location. Once you have found it, select insert. Click OK. Select Apply.

To close Master view and return to the slide show, select Close Master View.

Go to the format menu. Find background and click on it. Press the small downward arrow like this v. Press fill effects. Press pictures. select the picture you want and insert. Press OK and Apply.

right click on the center of your page, then choose background and select the picture
