it truly depends upon how fortunate you are. In the not to distant past 75 winters would have been a very very long life. Unheard of.
Now most of us expect to at the very least make that.

But as you know there are so many reasons why that may not happen.

More and more people, thanks to modern medicine are exceeding 75 winters. Often into the mid 80's winters.
And if medicine continues to uncover the mystery of longevity it can and will increase.

But one must understand there are worse things than dieing. Old age brings with it challenges we could never imagine when we are young and that will never be eradicated. For prolonging a persons live that is in constant pain or cannot get around any more may not be the best way to live.

Your point however is well taken. It clarifies the shortness of life more than almost anything I have seen.

If I have only 75 winters I will only have ten left. Seems just like yesterday when I was young and life would go on forever.

Our only choice is to live your life well. To have regrets at the end of your life is the wrong time to consider them.

Methuselah got 969 winters. You can't find that in the Guiness World Record book but you can find it in the Bible!

No, it`s not. So make every second count. You`ll find it a much more 'full' life if you do.

Peace

We might get less, we might get more. It's irrelevant, though, because the quality of life is not measured by time.
