I'm going from San Antonio to Katy Texas, what is the best route without having to go thru mountains?

Don't worry,there are no mountains between San Antonio and Katy.It's mild rolling hills near San Antonio and flat prairie near Katy.A very pleasant and relaxing drive for the most part.

Take I-10 East. Its about a three hour drive to Katy. No mountains, barely any hills.

The Mountains are near the Western border, so don't go by way of El Paso!
