Al Gore could have been right, but in this case it is El Nino. Global Warming takes YEARS to take effect. If Global Warming were causing this years years warmth, last year would have been warm too, and they year before that etc, etc, etc. These spikes, or dips if the weather were really cold, are always the results of external forces.

Al Gore may be right with the whole global warming oreal, but at the same time it could be the earth shifting it's cycle- this kind of weather has happened before.. it was just in 1877.

only time will tell.

I have heard that it is because of Hurricane Ivan or something sitting out in the Atlantic Ocean and pushing pressure systems out (high and low) and causing weird weather. Plus it might be global warming. Did you hear that there has been like tornadoes in London and snowing out west where it shouldn't be?

The Earth is recalibrating itself: Last year, we had a cold winter, and it's balancing itself out now. In January, it feels like the middle of April."
