yes, using Windows Media player you can play your DVD and record to Media Player. Then you have to connect your MP3 player and transfer the files to it. It's not rocket science - I'm hamfisted when it comes to computers but I managed to work it out myself!

A dvd is different from a cd in many ways. The sound on a dvd is embeded in MP4 format but you need to rip the MP4 and extract the MP3 track. It is possible using software, but I can't remember any. Do a search for 'Audio track extraction' and see where it goes!

iTunes, import normal CD format, arrange the music you wish,
and go to system preferences where you will find CD format
"normal CD" or MP3. Remember it has to be an Audio CD.

download the dvd track on to your computer and then you download from your computer to your mp3 player
