to many mixed answers with this question. I need it for my project for school but i need to bring in my laptop for it, this is not out of curiosity

Initially yes.. it has cache of 200 mb. it catches images when you are connected to internet.. and after that it is possible to see those images even when there is no internet

Yes, I doubt that all the images that you can view within the program Google Earth could fit on your computer. I have google earth and I was looking in the settings and in there it says that it has a cache on the computer. You can change the size value of this cache, the larger you make the value the more images google earth will temporarily store on your computer until it fills up the cache, then when the cache fills up with images it deletes the older ones to make room for new ones you want to view. If you disconnect the Internet from your computer and look at the same spot you were looking at previously in google earth it will show up. But, that is the only thing that you will be able to recognize because it doesn't store the whole world onto your computer.

YES.

See it actually connencts 2 a server 2 dwnld the satelltie images.

However it saves the images when it dwlds them. so 1s viewed u do not need internet 2 see the same place again.

For the first view u need it.

this is not achievable,, for getting to understand everywhere, it must be connect with Google Earth Server,, so there is no Stand on my own software for Google earth.... extra effective to look ahead to stand on my own software from google..

yes since all the program is in an inferface to receive all the pictures. that make up the images.

so simple answer is YES!
