I am a size 2 or 3 in jeans and I am short. All of the pants I buy are way too long, I have to get every pair altered. Does anyone know of a store that has pants in small sizes, but shorter?

New York Company, Gap, and Old Navy all sell short pants.

unless you can find either petite sizes designed for folks under 5'4" tall or like at gap where they do the shorter sizes, the best thing to do is have them altered. I am 5'4" and am too tall for petite most times and too short for normal pants. It is easier to just have them altered to whatever I want. That way I can adjust for whatever shoes I wear. I have some jeans I only wear with 2 - 3 heels and others I wear in the summer with sandals. So I can customize them to whatever I want. It is less of a headache than trying to find them in the store.

I hear you. You re just like me. I can wear a 1-3 in jeans depending on the fit of the particular brand.

I finally found a good place to find them. At JC Penney there are jeans for sale right now. I buy the Arizona's. They come in "short" versions. I am only 5'1'' so I get those. They fit really good. My mom likes that we finally found them because before that, I was walking the backs off of my jeans.

Hope you find the right jeans.

Many stores sell short sizes, you just have to ask. I know that pacsun, old navy and gap sell them but I'm pretty sure many others do too. Just ask the store and they should let you know.
