I close my eyes because i can't undergo to visual demonstrate unit sharp pointy issues heading for my mouth or the different area of my body for that count number. I merely keep my eye firlmy closed and take a verify out to relax.

closed, it's awkward if they're open because I feel like I'm making eye contact with the dentist. And don't you hate it when you think you're breathing and then you realize you're not and so you exhale? That happens to me everytime I go to the dentist.

I keep them closed , I don't want to know nothing or see anything
when I am at a dentist , even if its just for a cleaning. Just mention a drill to me , and I just about pass out.

mostly closed i try and think about something else the dentist isn't my favorite place to be. I open them if they are talking to me though

I close them because
1. the lights hurt my eyes
2. the dentist is a little too close for comfort and I really don't need to see up his/her nose.

I close my eyes when he turns on the drill. It irritate me just like the sound of fingernails going across a blackboard.

Usually closed because their lamp light thing makes my eyes water.
