Does Prepaid T-Mobile Phones work with a SIM card ?

I lost my Cell phone and I still Have my Sim Card, someone had said to me that I can use cellular prepaid, but I am not sure if this would work
please share to his types of experience I will appreciate

Also if anyone has a Motorola V600 for sale please let me know

Cingular and T-Mobile uses GSM Technology so these two cell phone carriers uses a Sim card. If you have a sim card with T-Mobile but don't have a cell phone, all that is required is to purchase a phone and call T-Mobile Customer Care and activate the phone as a pre-paid.
