No. I don't think he will die. That would be a stupid ending, and we all know that Rowling is NOT stupid.
And as for people "bugging" Rowling to write more books about him - she has great resolve, and has made it clear enough that she will write no more books in the series.
As for somebody writing a book about him - nobody will be able to for 70 years, Rowling will be dead by then, so I doubt she'll care. Also, even if she did "kill" Harry, if some other author was insistent enough on writing another Harry Potter book, they would find a way to bring Harry back...people are imaginative like that...

no. J.K. Rowling clearly said that Harry Potter is not going to die in the 7th book when she was interviewed. though many people thinks that Harry should die in the last book, I think that Voldemort should die instead. and she also said that she might write a 8th book too.

well it would make sense it will be the last book. and if he doesnt then readers will be craving for more of harry potter. but i hope he doesnt and maybe jk rowling could start a new series of books with harry's life after school. because after all this series is only following the seven years in school

This is a very touchy question. I look at each way to see the arguments but I really do hope that Harry will not die. Rowling said she didn't want anyone to make books after the 7th. I dunno how she can not be tempted to write a 8th. However she did say that the last chapter in Deathly Hallows would tell you what happened to those who lived.
Yet, I think he will live becuase JK Rowling has writen about Harry for so long I dunno how she can kill him after writing about him for sooooooo long.

no.i dont think so harry wil die. Rowling wont finish the book with an anticlimax.Lots of children read this book.so if Harry dies, it willl convey a negative message to them.
Allways good must overcome bad.
hope Harry doesn't die

I really hope he won't, but i have so many thoughts and theories, and that all over the Internet are ideas of what will happen........I'm not sure which one to believe. Will he die? Will he live? Will Voldemont die? Will Harry die trying to protect his friends? What will happen!?? I have no clue, but with J.K Rowling, she will never disappoint us.(well maybe)

He can't die. Harry Potter must live - FOREVER! If Harry Potter dies I think a lot of people would commit suicide. I would cry my heart out! I cried when Sirius died, I cried when Dumbledore died (even if I knew he would). It would just be so sad... I love Harry Potter. He can't die.

I can't see how Rowling would be able to end the series unless he died. (Although I would LOVE to see him in a book series going to school to become an Auror.)

The last book "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" is due out soon! We will find out!

:-)

i agree with nates pixie...and authors have copyrights stuff that extend like 50 years after they die and stuff so i dont think no one is gonna want to get in trouble with the law over a book. if harry dies, i think rowling is going to do kill him off for a good plot related reason and not bc shes worried about other authors stealing her characters.
