My favorite movie star when I was a little girl. Her movies: The Sound of Music and Mary Poppins were my favorites. Later she made movies more appealing to grown ups, like Victor Victoria, and now she is back doing her thing: Princess Dairies, Shrek. I Love her!

She is best known for the movies Mary Poppins, The Sound of Music, and The Princess Diaries.
She was in big broadway hits such as My Fair Lady and The Boyfriend.
In 1998, she had surgery done on a nodule in her throat and the doctor boched it up and now her once 4-octave singing voice is limited to about 1 1/2 octaves.
She has 1 biological daughter and 2 adopted daughters, and 1 step son and 1 step daughter. (Emma, Joanna, Amy, Goeffrey, and Jennifer)
She is a marvelous actress, singer, and author.
She has written many books with her daughter, Emma. Their newest book release is "The Great American Mousical"

If you're asking for opinions on her, I'm going to get "Best Answer". I think she's a lovely actress, and before her voice was damaged, a lovely singer. Her work in Marry Poppins as a nanny that is the nanny two English children dream of having is superb. Her acting in The Sound Of Music as Maria VonTrapp, a woman really wanting to become a nun that takes care of seven kids is fantastic. And I may not have seen all of her work, yet I can still say that really enjoy her acting.

I love Julie Andrews!!!
I dunno what your asking about her but here what I have to say:
she's a great actress, for those of you who haven't seen her movies other than mary poppins and the sound of music she shows her brilliant acting skills in movies such as
Hawaii (very believable in the scene where she's giving birth)
Darling Lili (very sexy julie, don't even get me started with those legs)
Duet for one (such a dramatic character, I love this she's really believable)
Victor/Victoria (wonderful voice of course)
Star (so many great performances)
she's got tons of other films that a julie fan must see.
