Isn't it just like all the other services that are not legal?

It's just because of the fact that it isn't banned, I guess. And it's free (except the LimeWire Pro), so who cares if it's legal or not, the benefits that it gives are worth, eventhough some say that it brings spyware and virus things, but I don't know if that really matters, because I use LimeWire and my PC is alright, I just got an antivirus and cleared it up. So if you get LimeWire get a good anti spyware and antivirus program, and it's alright, there's nothing to worry about, also "they won't come and get you" for having it, you know what I mean haha.
And by the way, I use it and I download songs, and I buy CD's though, because it's cooler to have the whole album of my favorite bands than only some songs. So there's justice for all then, "everyone is happy" hahaha :^D

They don't understand the copyright law.

They think because they aren't profiting it's okay.

However, when you buy a CD, you don't own the music. You have a license to play the music in ways described in the CD booklet.

Sharing mp3s violates an artist's intellectual property rights. You also are illegally distributing music/own illegally obtained property.
