You'd have to go with the Twins, Morneau, Mauer, Hunter, Cuddyer, and all the young talent. Go Twins!!!

AL East's Best line up is the Yankees
AL Central's is the White Sox
AL West the Texas Rangers.
Out of those three teams Yankees have the better all around offense. They have speed, patience, and power.
NL East the Mets
NL Central Cubs
NL West probably the weakest offensive division in baseball I'd say the Dodgers.
Out of those teams i think that the Cubs have boosted their offense to the best in the NL. They have the 40-40-40 man and two very good hitters in Aramis Ramirez and Derrick Lee. Also, Barrett was one of the better hitting catchers last year till he got his ball cracked.
Out of Cubs and Yankees the Yankees have the better offense. When Robinson Cano will most likely be batting 8th and he was 3rd in the AL hitting crown you know you have a very good offense.

I guess my question back to you is how do you classify the best? Is it purely offensive production or is it bottom line winning or is it best defensive team? Also are we talking best as far as potential or for this season only? Assuming we are only talking offense I would choose the Yankees. They have a good blend of veterans and young guys. There defense will be better this year and they know how to win. If we are talking offense over the next 3 years, I would say that the Florida Marlins have a great young lineup.

For me it is between the Chicago Cubs and the Philadelphia Phillies.
The Cubs have a good combination of power (Derrek Lee, Alfonso Soriano, Aramis Ramirez), speed, (Jacque Jones, Alfonso Soriano, Cezar Izturis,), and fielding, (Alfonso Soriano, Jacque Jones, Michael Barrett.)
The Phillies have the most potent lineups. They have a combination of power, speed and fielding in their leadoff man Jimmy Rollins, the power of Chase Utley, Ryan Howard, and Pat Burrell, and a great group of young guys to back them up as well as a new 3B and C in Wes Helms and Rod Barajas.
