With Halo 3 coming out in November I can't tell when the price will ever lower.

Already have a Wii and find it quite boring right now..It needs better games.. I want 360 because of Oblivion..That game addicted me when I played it. It's a long game and worth getting the 360 for. Plus halo 3 will come out sometime this year.

price will lower a few months after halo 3 comes out, b/c that is wat microsoft is waiting for. Make you want the console to play the game. ALso right now it costs microsoft more money to make a 360 than to sell one.

it's going to be a while. Their only competition is still much more expesive. The Wii is not competitioin. They go after two different types of gamers. I would guess it will happen well after Halo 3 comes out. People will buy the system just to get Halo 3. There is no reason to lower the price before then. I gave it over a year, and finally bought one about a week ago.

Halo 3 will surly stimulate demand for the consoles, so it may lower in price to increase sales further to increase the quantity they sell but it might not as they have lowered it already since its release but there probably will be deals during xmas time. I also hear there is new improved version of the xbox360 coming out so the older version probably will fall in price.

A new version of the 360 is coming out soon, its codenamed Zephyr. I think around when this new v2 360 comes out, the price might lower a little. the new one will create less heat, which creates less breaking down. it also has a new port for 1080p.

I don't expect it lower for another year. With the ps3 just coming out at a hefty 600 dollar price they would seek to make a profit with staying at 400. I would think the ps3 would drop 1st due to poor sales.

I'd think around summer when the holiday grabbing stops they'll settle maybe a 50 dollar lower price.
