Listen, parents don't want their baby girls played out by any young suiter, no matter what color they are. Try dating a white bum and see how much your family likes him. If you bring in Barrack Obama Junior, they'll most likely like him as long as he is respectful. People have been mixing races for a long long time now. It isn't a big deal. But, have you noticed that some people are still shocked at the white male/black female combo. Here in the south, we are starting to see alot more of these marriages.

People are racist because they are afraid and ignorant. Things are a great deal more tolerant today than decades ago because with time people have become more accustomed to other races living and working with them and because they have learned about other people's cultures too. As such, we have come to realize we are not different - we are in fact the same. Some of us love all that. But, some people will always live to be retarded wussies and there is little you can do to help them other than continue to hold your chin up high and love.

Thirty years ago, it WAS a big deal. Generally today it's NOT a big deal except to a small number of small minded, bigotted people. In fact, when I first came to s.e. Va in 1967, whites and non-whites were not allowed to marry. I've dated black, Japanese, Vietnamese, and Thai women, beside caucasian women. No big deal.

Because some people don't accept that "human condition is sacred no matter the color of the skin", a quotation I read in an american novel younger but in Spanish, La Cabaña del TÃo Tom, ¿Uncle Tom's Cabin?

Well it all depends on what region you live in. I live in the Northwest and I love it here because it has a very diverse culture. Specially California and Oregon. I am Latino and fortunately I have not encounter any problems like that, I love to date different people from different backgrounds. Take care.

I agree. My Mum is white and my Dad is Aboriginal. Sometimes even my own friends question who I go out with, in terms being black and white. I tell them it's none of their business. My mother always said that i had the best of both worlds. Without my Mum and Dad falling in love and going against the advice of their friends I wouldnt be here.

I don't think it's a big deal at all. I am white and I've had the same black boyfriend for 10 years.
People who have an issue with it are small and ignorant. A person's skin color truly does not matter.

See, people don't like things to change. Habits die hard, and for our parents and grandparents, Interracial dating, single parenting and sex before marriage "just wasn't done" Or wasn't accepted.
However, as it becomes more apparent, people will become used to it and they'll complain less, and start saying whatever type of new music to come out is "Satanic" instead.

That is the way it should be. You have to remember that the human race is far from that. We must do something to show others the way it should be. Maybe we should kill all those who don't fit our mold. Sounds like the same thing though.
