i think snape is good. in book six hagrid says he overheard snape arguing with dumbledore. i think dumbledore was telling snape to kill him if he has to and snape didn't want to. also, snape saw two broomsticks before he killed dumbledore. he would have guessed that harry potter was here to. when dumbledore is pleading with snape i think he is acutualy pleading for him to save harry's life or he is pleading with him to kill dumbledore and keep his cover.

come on. Yes, Snape "killed" Dumbledore, but if Dumbledore is as smart as he's been made out to be for the past 5 books, then he knew this was going to happen all along. And isn't Dumbledore the greatest wizard of all, so couldn't he, along with the greatest of the potion-makers come up with a way to fake a death? or at least a create some sort of less permanent death? And isn't Fawkes- Dumbledore's familiar, a phoenix? So is Dumbledore really dead? I doubt it. So is Snape evil? No, just really sneaky.

Well, obviously Snape killed Dumbledore for him. The first time you read that partt you may think that Dumbledore resurrects in the next few pages, but there was a whole funeral in which the school body had to attend. Therefore, I do not think that Snape and Dumbledore had some kind of trick or anything because Dumbledore would've told more people in the Order about it.
Snape is on the evil side. (Damn him)

I think he is on the side of good. Dumbledore is either not dead or sacrificed himself to the greater good, because now Voldemort is going to trust Snape completely.

Evil! He killed Dumbledore. What were you thinking? That Dumbledore really is alive and that Snape and himself only made up a plan? Good theory, but... oh, it was my theory! Anyway, Dumbledore is dead and Snape is evil... tat's just the way it is.

I agree with daddy f.
but i also think that dumbledor knew that snape was gonna kill him, not because it may have been discussed between the two, but because i think that dumbledor knew about that magical bind between snape and dracos mother. The bind was for snape to protect draco, resulting in snape taking dracos orders from the dark lord.
but like someone mentioned above that jk rowling said that the fact of wheather snape is good or evil is not said in the last book. therefor it is not important. I think it is not said because snape is gonna die. i think this because he took dracos order to kill dumbledor and voldemorts gonna be mad. and might try to kill draco but snape has to protect him...

--DUMBLEDORES DEAD! he won't be back.

yes, i totally agree with daddy f and muggle.net is a cool site. but Rowling said (in her interview) that the 7th book will not tell whether Snape is evil or not. though what daddy f says makes sense, and it is cool to know all the clues!

i think he is goodl, but he is hiding behind a evil cover, remember, that he made a vow with one of voldemonts people that he would kill dumbledore, it was snapes life or dumbledores.
