Of course...it's human nature. But I would also feel at peace knowing that when I die I will be going home to be with the Lord

We already know we are going to die. Just not exactly when. If I was aware that on a specific date and time I was going to die, I would be scared, not of the dying, but of what comes next. If I new I had a short time to live, the same would apply. I'd live life as best I could until the time comes and maybe ask for forgiveness a couple of times for all the bad things I've done.

I'd be scared of it (the dying process) taking too long. I think most people are afraid of it because it's an unknown.
I'm not afraid of being dead. I have a feeling once we die we kinda look back and wonder "What was I afraid of? This is pretty cool. Why did I fight it for so long?"
Since every living thing is going to die we may as well accept it and fantasize about it being a smooth transition.

I would just prepare my soul for the next situation. We never die, only the body dies, We are eternal spirit souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul. We have to reconnect to our Maker, also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc.,if we want to get out of the repeated cycle of birth death old age and disease. (reincarnation) This world is called Maya (illusion) and is temporary and full of misery. We should aspire for the supreme blissful eternal abode where is no more birth death old age etc. The quickest and easiest way to reconnect is to chant the maha mantra (the great mantra for deliverance from suffering and illusion) go to krishnaculture. for details and read Bhagavad Gita As it is By Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada- Reveals our real propose in life, karma, reincarnation. (Best to starh preparing now we may never know when we will die and it is not so easy to give up our material attachments.

We all will die sooner or later. Some things a person goes through living can be worse then dying. Death could be a blessing.

The one inescapable truth about life is that we will die at some stage (at least our human body will) - so there is nothing really to be scared about. Except maybe the moment and method.
I hope it helped!

If it were going to be a slow, painful death, or a violent one, probably would be. But if I found out I was going to die in my sleep, that would be ok.
