Frozen Nipples...not you the baby's pacifier. Place the pacifier in a glass of cold water from the refrigerator. Once the pain returns let the baby suck on it until they go to sleep or until the pain subsides. Don't want to have the baby dependent on a pacifier then use the tip of your finger to massage the area where the tooth is protruding through the gum line. The sensation the baby feels is not pain but itching. the massage will help sooth this sensation.

There are many different things you can do or use.You could use baby oragel or yo could try different frozen things. What worked really good with my children was the water ring toys they have out.Put them in the freezer and let the baby suck on that.It will numb the gums and they feel a lot better.Only thing is Have a couple in the freeze at a time. Also frozen bananas they love the taste and they are ushy when they are done less chance of choking.Thoise are just a few things I did.

try Tylenol or any other pain medication at night before bed because babies be in pain. I tried a gum brush for infants that comes with infants tooth brush and rub his gums with it after I applied teething gel on the gums and gave him some pain reliever and it worked for my baby.

I always gave my kids tylonel/advil. Sometimes when babies are teething it can cause them to have ear aches too. If it seems that they are in a lot of pain at one point in the day - I would call and talk to the dr.

Baby orajel sometimes works - they can only be given it like 4 times a day though. Try rubbing their gums with your finger. My son also feels much better when we give him a vibrating teether.

When my son was teething I would give him a cold washcloth to chew on. Anything cold but not too cold because you don't want to harm the baby's gums.

Exactly what the previous poster said, Oragel works wonders. We also dampened a baby washcloth, put it in the freezer, and gave it to my little one to chew on. He seemed happy with those.
