I am The Sports Guru and I will tell you that the Super Bowl will be the Ravens vs. the Eagles.

Why the Ravens will get in:

1) Steve McNair - McNair has the playoff experience that you want in a QB; he has been in the Playoffs before and has led a team to the Super Bowl; the Tennessee Titans in 2000.

2) Power running game - Jamal Lewis and Mike Anderson will continually wear defenses down with their power and that will create more chances for the passing game to convert also.

3) Outstanding defense - The Ravens defense? Clearly the best in the league. Try scoring off of these guys. If you make it past the defensive line, you will meet Ray Lewis and Ed Reed; guys who hit like sports utility trucks.

Why the Eagles will get in:

1) The NFC sucks - Come on; let's face it. The NFC sucks. That is the only reason why the Eagles will make it to the Super Bowl. They are on a roll and have won 5 consecutive games before the Playoffs and have looked very dominating both offensively and defensively.

Super Bowl pick: Ravens

Some other trendy SB picks are the San Diego Chargers, New Orleans Saints and Chicago Bears. Below, I will tell you why these teams will not make the Super Bowl.

Why the Chargers will not get to the Super Bowl:

1) Phillip Rivers - Rivers is essentially a first year starting quarterback with absolutely no postseason experience. He has looked incompetent in recent games and that does not bode well for the Playoffs. The Chargers will not be able to overcome the inexperience of Phillip Rivers in their title quest.

2) Overrated defense - Hm... Shawne Merriman. Anybody else? Nope. The only reason why the Chargers look good on paper is because they are a possession team with L.T. on the ground, that keeps the ball away from the other team.

Why the New Orleans Saints will not win it:

1) No defense - When tested, this defense has wilted under the pressure. They, like the Chargers, have put up solid defensive stats because they have great ball control with Drew Brees tossing short screen passes to Reggie Bush and Deuce McAllister doing the rushing. Under real pressure, this defense has completely tanked. Remember the loss to the Bungles? The Saints gave up 31 points.

Why the Bears will not win it:

1) The incompetence of Rex Grossman - This guy is a dumbass and that is why the Bears will not win the Super Bowl. The Bears have a great defense, but without a solid quarterback, the defense will have to play even better than it has been. Grossman has been declining week by week, and will suffer miserably in the Playoffs against good teams.

2) Wilting defense - The defense has gotten steadily worse and has given up more yards week after week. That is not good going into the Playoffs.

If you have any other questions for me, I will gladly answer them.

Philadelphia Eagles: They play well and they are 5-1 with Jeff Garcia. Their Defence play real well so I have to say Eagles for the NFC.
San Diego Chargers: San Diego are on a good run this season with LT. He has good rushing yards to lead the Chargers to the Super Bowl. Shawn Meriman plays good on defence.

Eagles win 24-21 with David Akers kick with 10 seconds left in the 4th qtr

Ravens vs. Saints

The Ravens can (and have) shut down LT. Without LT to open up the field, the Chargers aren't that great. The Bears might make it in the NFC, but it depends on which Rex Grossman decides to show up.

my best bet would be the Saints and Chargers and it would be a great game, the New Orlean Saints with all they have been through to get to the Superbowl and Drew Bree's let go by the Chargers to face his old team a great rb in LT
