i know they're not the same thing but i was wonderin if you can use hair lotion the same way you use grease like putting it on your scalp daily and putting it on your ends i mean as long as you keep your hair moisturised does it really matter and plus grease is too damn messy

and does it work the same

Yes I use hair lotion daily on my scalp and on the ends of my hair, it's not as greasy as grease. And it helps with split ends and keeping your hair soft. I use Luster's Pink Oil Moisturizer. They have the regular one and and light one, if you don't like the regular one because it is a little heavy. Good Luck :)

Hair lotion and grease are not the same. Depending on the texture of the hair it works differently. If your full african american i wouldnt reccommend a hair lotion because it is very watered down. Certain type of hair dont take well to watered down products. Notice in the avatars up top all the women that said they use hair lotion are mixed. Youll end up needing more perms and then your hair will get over processed and damaged which is something you dont want. Im mixed black, white, and indian and my sister has the kind of hair thats really frizzy, curly, hard to tame. She uses the hair lotion because grease would just be to heavy in all that hair and she has the kind of hair that can air dry with out it affecting the texture. They are not the same!

No. The chemicals that are in lotion may not be appropiate for your hair. I've even heard that you are not suppose to use lotion in baby's hair because it will dry it out. The best thing if you dont want to use hair grease it to buy a moisterizing lotion for hair. There are alot out there to choose from. But If i were u I would not put lotion in my hair.
