Ok, my stereo has a red and a white connector on the back. My computer has a TV tuner card, which has a red, white, and a yellow connector. So, I connected the red and the white from the stereo to the red and white from the computer. Now, there is no sound coming from the computer to the stereo, probably because the stereo is not plugged into the "out" hole. So how do I get the computer to "listen" to the stereo?

go to radio shack and buy a cable with the red and white RCA on one end and a plug on the other end that looks like a headphone plug. Plug that end into the headphone jack in your computer and the RCA plugs into your stereo. I think the cables are relatively inexpensive.

Since the TV tuner is designed to receive tv signals, it probably doesn't have an audio-out jack.

read the manual for the video card.. if you have not got one then go to the makers web site and click on support and look for the manual and download it,

if not the get a sound card with phono in/out plugs on it, that way you will also get the software to record what ever music you want to record
