I think THE AMERICAN VOTERS SHOULD DO THEIR HOMEWORK BEFORE ELECTIONS THIS UPCOMING YEAR. YOUU ARE BASICALLY VOTING FOR THE PRESIDENT OF NOT ONLY NORTH AMERICA BUT ALSO FOR THE REST OF WORLD. SO DON'T TELL ME THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH PEOPLE NOT LIVING IN USA- THIS COULD DECIDE ALL OF OUR FATES.

Come on give a break, dont include rest of the world.Rest of the world is least bothered about who would govern the USA .The importance of USA patron vanished with the demise of Soviet Union.
Only ignorant Americans who never left the shores of America think that the world is revolving around USA.The reality is.. world has come out of bipolar world order and increasingly seeking for multipolar world.
Of course i understand it is difficult for Americans to come to terms with the reality unlike their Russian counterparts that they no longer own the world and rest of the world doesn't want America or American president as their leader.
Many major countries are converting their foreign exchange reserves from dollars and willing to do business in euros.America should learn lessons from its mother nation Great Britain and play a equal role in world affairs rather than trying to dominate

Well, this is a very polarized question...

When I was working for Young Voter's League (a group trying to raise the percentage of 18-24 year old participating in elections) I was accused by someone that I was making voting "cool", and therefore people would vote without having any idea what they were voting for.

This guy was a staunch republican, and felt that the younger generation didn't really "know" any issues, and would vote democrat because it was popular in Boulder.

But, to answer your question, I believe that Bush abuses his power as head of one of the most powerful nations in the world. Things will definately be better when he leaves office.

I still wonder why all the concentration was on Saddam, when it was Osama who attacked our country, and it is North Korea that actually has the weapons of mass destruction we should be worried about.

Much better off once George is gone I hope .It would be hard to find anyone worse then him .
But it is possible with our reshaped constitution that allows for seizure of private property , the loss of privacy in phone bank and now even in the mail at this point freedom is gone almost .. So I see that the stage has been set for a leader who will make bush seem like a Kitten in comparison .
We need a revolution and a restructuring of the basic constitution which I believe covered everything so well 200 years ago .Then the first Gay couple to apply for a marriage license will be granted one . No laws banning Sodomy or men living with men or blacks marring whites . All these laws where passed and need to be wiped out along with volumes of tax codes and federal regulations on private enterprise .

We will be happier because then and only then we can work our way out of this War and out of Debt.

We don't need anymore Bushes in office and no more of his cronies. He has detroyed a wonderful country and has brought us to bankkrupt status. We have lost face in front of the world. No one likes us anymore. They dont feel we should have gone against the UN and went to War. They did not back us.
Many feel we went to war to push our Power and to make other countries fear us. Instead the other countries are building up there weapons of destruction to protect their country from the invaders - the US.

How could we be so stupid? How could the American people be so stupid to elect him twice? He was and is a great CON.

It really depends on how big of a mess he makes in his final two years, hopefully the congress can reign him in and neutralize any effort for him to take America and the rest of the world deeper into conflict, I am holding my breath that this troop buildup is not a diversion that will end up being an invasion of Iran. If we do that could bring some pretty heavy hitters into the mess, China and Russia as they are trade partners with Iran.

Apparantly by the recent election outcomes Americans as a whole are getting a little more optimistic. We spent many years being pessimistic because the media and propoganda told us to.

In other words, the positive voices are finally being lifted.

My opinion is that the world would be a better place when Bush is gone. Ever since he became the president, we've only had problems. He is the reason that our American Soldiers are overseas now. Bush doesn't care about the American people, he only cares about himself. If he cared about us, he would be over there with our soldiers as well. See when Clinton was president, he went over there 15 times to support our troops, and Bush only went twice. Now you see who really cared! For those who cared for us are either killed or removed from office. As our government would say it, They died of friendly fire. That's bogus!!

Yeah, well we've had some pretty rotten choices.

It takes a lot of money to run a successful campaign, and the businesses who put up the money groom a 'sameness' to the candidates. Specifically, most of the front runners for 2008 are globalists.

If I can find someone who isn't, I will vote for him (or her.)

OK?

I cant agree with you more,we sure learned that with this President! I We have lost the respect from other nations! The president does what he want, and gets rid of anyone who dares to diagree with! He can start a war on his very own,lie to the house and senate and still get elected.. Yes we shoud really pay attention to whom we elect as president!

How anyone votes will NOT affect whether or not Bush is out. He will not be running. Why? He's afraid of Hilary, or Osama- er Obama- NOT!

Bush will not be on the 2008 ballot, because he is not allowed BY LAW to run again (re: Constitution, 22nd amendment).

Try being informed before running off at the mouth.
