The proper way to find the model of any Kawasaki is to ask your Kawasaki agent by giving them the full frame number, the digits may give you the year but Kawasaki made a different model for every month of some years and a lot of them are not parts interchangeable, and a lot of people, think by getting the year right is the end of the problem. its not. I was Technical supervisor for Kawasaki for about 3 years, and now have a motorcycle engineering workshop here in NZ and strike this problem all the time.

The absolutely free reverse vin check sites generally provide fake information. To get real information, money will have to be paid. The free searches provide fake information so they can get your email address to send spam.

Stay away from shady reverse vin check sites, most likely you won't get any information after you make the payment. Not to mention you won't get a report and you won't get an answer if you try to call for a refund. Stick with a reputable reverse vin check site like http://www.reversevincheck.net that has been around since 1995.

there should be a little tag behind the front number plate on the frame but if it fell off or something you can enter a number that will be printed on the frame some where and enter at http://www.usedcarhistories.com/vin_numbers.html
