Blackhead and white heads are the same...the only difference is, the white head is covered my a tiy layer of skin and a blackhead is not. They are both clogged pores that have not been infested. And infected blackhead/whitehead turnes into a pustule...a pimple that hurts. To prevent having pustules, you need to get a facial on a regular basis so that they can remove the blackheads before they turn into huge zits!

P.S. The reason a blackhead is black is because it has no skin covering it and it is exposed to the oxgen in the air. Think about an apple...when you take a biute into it, after a while, it turns brown because the skin is no longer there to protect it from the oxygen.

both are technically blockages of your pores. they are slightly different. blackheads are merely just blockage of the pore due to not cleaning skin properly and use of make-up and oil. It is not dirt. White on the other hand is build up of dead skin cells within the pore that is coated with the the sticky sebum and that your body naturally tries to ward off bacteria by using white blood cells.

whitehead is just another term for pimple. it is the same thing. treatment for white heads and black heads are not exactly the same.

ProActiv is the best, but it's a huge pain. There are a bunch of different creams and even a mask you have to leave on for a few minutes....
