♥ ♥ you are young and still growing so you need to eat, just eat healthy and get some form of exercise... eat lots of fruts and veggies, drink water, lots of water.... there are a couple of ways to make it easy... 1 do not eat foods that contain flour or sugar, thats table sugar not fruit sugar... eat whole wheat products...2 eat foods that come in their own container.... like fruits, veggies, eggs, milk, cottage cheese, cheese, meats, popcorn, oatmeal, for starters....( you buy them in a container but you dont have to add to them to eat them)♥ ♥

Since you can control the kind of food thats coming into your home.I Imagine it must be hard for you.
First off you really shouldn't starve yourself.Your still growing at 13 and need vitamins and nutrients to develop your heart and lungs and tissues in your body!
Since you cant make your mom buy healthy foods. What YOU can do is to make sure you do a little bit everyday ..
When you are done w/homework..exercise a little bit.
My daughter is also overweight. So i know it isn't easy to start working out.Go slow.Make a goal for yourself.
Say-15 sit ups and 15 leg lifts and 15 jumping jacks.Just dance around in your room for 30 minutes even!Thats exercise!
For one month try this.
If you do this after dinner and only have say a small amount of crackers or some fruit if you have some at home..No chips/pop or candy as a snack..You should see some results.
Then the next month increase tha amount you do to 25 reps.
I hope i have helped you some.
I know it's really hard for girls your age in school.
MY girl is 15 and still not the size of all the other girls..
I hate it that people treat others different because of their size!!!
Good luck to you!

you must educate yourself to the food pyramid (which shows what you should be eating ) and also to the calorie content of food,,,,,, also, for general health, watch the fat and sodium levels,,,, then slowly adjust your diet,,, at 13, this is really something you must learn to do for yourself,,,, to develop an eating style and exercise style that fits you,,,, then if you find a low cal dish, perhaps your mom can help you make it,,, you dont have to leave any one food out,,, so dont go on any extreme diets,,,,, just eat smaller amounts of the things that are high calorie,, and fill up on the low calorie ,,,,,,, and also, remember, you gain weight by eating more then you burn off, and you lose by burning off more then you eat,,,, an average person will burn off at least 1000 calories a day, just breathing and basic bodily functions,,,,,, what you want to do,, is to start exercising,,, there again start slowly and build up,,,, even jogging or dancing around during tv commercials will really help,,,,,, do small amounts often,,,,, that, with cutting back on food, will get you to a healthy weight,,,,, after you arrive at that point, then just add in more exercise if you want or did eat more,,,,

Here is a place that reviews lots of weight loss programs, dieting aides, supplements and so on. Even has categories like diebetes, low fat and hypnosis. Pretty cool site.

http://www.reviewplace.com/cat-135-DietsWeightLoss--Top-10-Weight-Loss-Programs.html

Many of the programs listed have consumer reviews, so you can read what others think of the program.

Hope this helps!

Multiply your desired weight by 11. The result is number of calories per day to be consumed.

120 lbs. x 11 calories = 1320 calories intake per day.

Drink at least 2 qts. of water per day. Water increases metabolism. Exercise 20 mins. per day.

first of all your only 13 and shouldnt be worrying about your weight.

dont try diets because they dont work, and dont starve yourself.

exertrely overweight people can loose weight fast by just cutting down on portions, exerseing (walking for 30 minutes everyday), not eating fast food, and avoiding unhealthly fatty foods.

for example if you've been eating ice cream everyday, STOP doing that and you can loose alot of weight.

dont worry yourself, your only 13!!

good luck and TRY talking to your mom she cares about you and your health

What help do you want from your mother? do you want her to make exercise for you? to eat well for you?
She can help you by keeping you motivated, maybe enrolling you in some king of sport or cooking you healthy food but everything is in your hands after that.
If you want my advice, take it easy, you didn't gain all the weight in one day so its not going to go away in one day either.
I hope you reach your goal of losing weight. if you need any more help please contact me.
