NO. I have been dyeing my hair since the age of 15 and it's fine. It does tend to get weaker at the ends and break but you could solve that with regular haircuts and good conditioning routine.

Just doen't get too trigger happy and I would recomend having it done at a salon. Also I dye my hair every 4 months or so, so don't do it too often.

No, it won't fall out at the root but it could either A. break at weak points in the hair shaft or B. break at the scalp giving the appearance of the hair falling out.
It will grow back but the process of lightening - especially bleaching - weakens the hair more than depositing a dark colour which fills the hair cuticle with colour molecules which tends to make the hair shaft stronger.

manfez: Incorrect, unless you're putting battery acid on your head.

It won't fall out. It will just cause your hair to become dry and brittle and generally in not the best of conditions. If you do want to keep dying your hair just make sure you keep it hydrated. There is a range of conditioners and treatments now for coloured hair such as Dove. Good luck! :)

your hair would have to be in pretty bad condition for it to fall out although if you keep dyeing your hair excesively then it will start to break off especially if u use bleach as such make sure u give your hair a good penetrating condition cos surface conditioners are good but dont give the effect of penetrating conditioners

think it depends upon the type of hair dye you use...i think if it's permanent it does more damage.

but if you don't take care of your hair it will eventually start to go all rubbish, dry and break easier...but that happens if you dont look after your hair long term anyway...so basically, use conditioner (in moderate amounts obviousely, don't want to have greasy hair!), avoid straighteners and heat-treating your hair when possible, and all should be good =)

no hair does not fall out because the root is protected under the skin. the dead hair which is the part thats exposed is very succeptable to damage, if dyed too much or any other means, re: blowdrying, perms, colors it will break off because each time you chemically alter the hair it breaks it down when it gets to the point where it is so weak it will just break.

of course no, or you will see half the women on the planet bold, but it does dries up the hair, my freinds who dyes their hair noticed that the oily hair tends to become more dry and kind of thinning.if you must dye your hair use the best kind of hair dye out there and use olive oil baths for your hair once or twice a week.it really replenishes your hair, making it shiny and softens your scalp

no, if you keep coloring your hair and your not taking care of it, then your hair could start breaking off. hair doesn't fall out because of damage it will slowly start to break off, ususally at the ends that is why it is important to get a hair cut every 6 weeks, and use good shampoo and conditioner, salon stuff is the best.
