My parents told my brother and I that he entered the house through the keyhole. When we asked how he managed to get that small, my Dad said that Santa used Magic Elf Dust that allowed him to shrink just long enough to get through the keyhole. After my brother and I became concerned as to the possibility of a burglar using that technique to rob us, Dad said that the Magic Elf Dust was strictly regulated, and only Santa was allowed to use it by law.
