We got 3 adults in a glass tank (3ft.x1ft.x2ft high) with under water pebble-bottom filter and a top charcoal filter. they are well taken care for about 2 years. all they do is peck (not hurt) each other.

Yes, they probably can breed, and no you can't tell their sex. If your Oscars all fit in that little tank then they are obviously still quite small. Their aggression will only be getting worse from here. If you have a male and a female among your trio, and if they suit each other and become a pair, you will notice when they tear up the remaining Oscar. Then you can wait for them to breed.

The size of your tank, however, is too small for these species and I doubt you'll have long term success with it and already I doubt they're growing the way they could. A pair of Oscars should have a standard 75 gallon tank at least.

i don't know much about them, but if an Oscar is a meat eating fish , idon't see why a couple fries would hurt, and i think you should google it to find out if the adults are able to be sexed.
