I plan to buy printer in a few weeks but still not certain which brand to buy.

any, just make sure that the ink is a not to expensive, thats whats most annoying about printers

I have personally used both an HP and Epson Printer. In my experience...the Epson is much more economical on ink over time. As long as you choose a model that had individual ink tanks for each color vs. a printer that uses a combo color ink tank (all colors in one tank) you will be headed in the right direction. I liked the HP as a printer...but I was replacing ink more often....since I print a lot of pics on it. If you print a lot of one color on a combo tank, you are wasting ink because you have to rebuy the whole tank.

I work in electronics retail, and in my experience...stay away from Lexmark, they chew through ink like crazy.

Well no doubt you can go for hp brand in whether its a inkjet or laser printer option you wanna buy.

I have a Canon Pixma iP6600D inkjet and it's worked great. Prices have been going down on them recently.
