Well not me. Thank goodness the season of "Let's all sit about and do nothing." is finally over and we can get back on with our lives. I swear if I could find somewhere in the UK where things carried on as normal over the Yuletide season I'd move there every winter.

I'm sick of it frankly.

January sales, colossal credit card bills, turkey with everything, rum-flavoured cream, brandy-flavoured butter, relatives I can't stand dropping in to hassle me, clearing vomit off the pavement outside after New Year's Eve, over-priced food and drink at the local boozer, rubbish TV.............need I go on.

Next year we're off to Australia - Christmas Day on the beach, Boxing Day at the MCG sitting in the sun watching some cricket..........bonzah !

I'm sad because I'm not going out tonight. As for Christmas, don't give a toss about that! It ended on 26 December for me.

Why are you so sad??? If we had Christmas all year round, it wouldn't be a different and perhaps exciting time. Enjoy seasonal and other changes and get to grips with reality.
