I've seen them on display at the mall, but until yesterday, I had never seen anyone wearing one.
This customer came into my office yesterday, and he had this big silver grill on his teeth. I had a hard time looking him in the eye and focusing on what he was saying because I was fascinated by that chunk of metal in his mouth.

Is that just something you slip over your own teeth, or is it implanted in there?

My 18-year-old son got one, for when he is performing with his band. They fit over the teeth.

i suggest doing this twice a day, or maybe three times in the summer. Taking care of a lip piercing is a really tedious job but when it heals properly it will be so worth it. Anyways, you need Q- tips, sea salt, warm water, and mouth wash. First thing, brush your teeth (like always) but be careful not to hit the piercing. Second gargle some mouth wash and be sure to get it all around the bottom front of your lip so the inner- side of your hole will be thoroughly cleaned (it might burn really bad bad but that means it's working). Then mix the warm water with the sea salt and soak a Q tip in to the mix. All you have to do is just dab it around the healing spot. Or, you can just dip your whole chin and your lips into the mix and just stay there for a while.

a mold of your teeth are made so that a removable gold, silver or platinum grill can fit over them exactly how your teeth fit in your mouth. some people have real gold permanent teeth put in by a dentist but you have to get your real teeth filed down first for those.

Its something like a sock, you put it on and take it off...you can go without or with it.

Ive never seen anyone with one on in real life...but my friend who is a teacher in a low income area, knows a kid who has a grill, but lives in a car with his family!! I dont get it....she said it was a status thing.
