Just another far fetched lie from the top.

Iraq has a democracy. They voted for a Parliament basically over a year in the past. (How do you imagine they were given a best Minister?) What they don't seem to be yet able to doing is protecting that democracy. And in case you imagine that they are basically sitting there and gazing our troops die - then you truly opt to envision out the operations the Iraqi military is appearing - and the style of Iraqi infantrymen who're death for the desire of a more desirable destiny. BTW - after 4 years, you at present have sergeants able to ideal squads and officials able to ideal businesses. that's going to take some more desirable years for his or her NCOs and officials to get experienced adequate to run great units. The Iraqis choose time.

You see, what the US did was take the people from the Kurdish camps and attempt to train them to be the police force and new military. Most of these people have no formal education or military training. There were already skilled people in Iraq, but these people would never side with the US to kill their fellow citizens. And rightfully so. If someone were to come to your country, bomb the heck out of it, killing many of your family and neighbors, would you jump at the chance to help and join them?? Nah. The US underestimated the Iraqi people. Now they plan to send yet more troops to die there. They need to pack up and leave before more mothers lose their sons and daughters in this unjust war. The Iraqis will never obey or respect the US. Why should they?

BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - Iraq's prime minister said Saturday that Iraqi forces would launch a new effort - with U.S. troops in a supporting role - to wrest control of Baghdad's neighborhoods from militias and other sectarian killers.

Iraqi forces were to begin a neighborhood-by-neighborhood assault on militants in the capital this weekend, even before the White House announced a long-awaited new strategy to contain Sunni insurgents and Shiite death squads.

"The Baghdad security plan will not offer a safe shelter for outlaws regardless of their ethnic and political affiliations, and we will punish anyone who hesitates to implement orders because of his ethnic and political background," Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said in a speech at the 85th anniversary celebration of the Iraqi army.

Well, it wound up that the people we were training just went into the militias.

We need to pull out before we make any more stupid mistakes. Iraq will never stand up as one country. It just won't happen. The country is splitting apart along sectarian lines, and the only thing keeping them from puling apart into three countries (one of which, the Kurds, would be a peaceful democratic US ally) is the occupational US Force.

Food for thought.

That was plan number 5,431, since then Mr. Bush has lost count and had to start all over again. The key is, just as with any politician, don't listen to what they say, watch what they do.

They are still in training. Starting over from scratch isn't as easy as it seems. He has made some mistakes, but so has every other President who has been a wartime President. Iran and Syria need to be put on notice that their interference will not be tolerated. The P.C. approach in this war should stop and are troops should be given more freedom to do what they have to do to end this part of the War on Terror. Many have been killed due to scared of facing charges for any thing they due.

Hon, let me give you a little history lesson:

Long ago and far away there was a plan to "Vietnamize" the Vietnam War. We were going to train the South Vietnamese to defend their own country and do the fighting American boys were doing for them.

Sound familiar? Well, it's deja vu all over again and now we're going to try the same thing in Iraq.

My prediction: same result, same national tragedy.

This Country(Iraq) has been dictated on how to live, what to do to live, what happens to them if they deviate from the dictatorship WAS death. They know no other way of life. Until they can truly understand that Allah will not smite them if they live as a democracy, there will be turmoil, chaos, and such. President Bush not only saved their lives, he saved our childrens lives too.

If you know how to run the situation over in Iraq, then why don't you do it instaed of condeming everyone who tries?

You don't really believe that something like that is going to happen in the blink of an eye do you?
