You computer may need an upgrade try searching for upgrades on the internet for your computer like if its microsoft try going to their home web page and look up the newest upgrades for your computer. Or you can just get a PS2 and that will automatically solve your problem ^.^ thats a PS2 game right????? meh...

This truly sucks, I've had the same problem myself with other games. As you know your computer is overheating. Here are some of the things you can do to improve the situation.
1. Get your computer out in the open, don't put anything on it, let it get some air.
2. If you're willing take the case off, and leave it off.
3. Clean out the inside with canned air, get all the dust out, paying particular attention to the mother board/processor & fan.
4. Install a second fan in the computer.
5. I know it will look funny, but if you do pop the case, you can point a fan at the motherboard.
6. Keep the room you play in as cool as possible.
Hope these help.
