Depends what area of France you are going to.
By the French - German boarder you will likely find a good mix of French and German.
By the English Channel it will be French - English.
By the Spanish boarder it will be French - Spanish.
By the Italian boarder- French- Italian.
The official Language of France is French. If you are in Paris, you will hear about 50% English - French.

too undesirable you're dropping an afternoon to circulate to Disneyland the place there is a lot different stuff to work out in France. My best suggestion may well be to get into those museums and church homes. Orsay, Louvre, Rodin, Picasso, Ste. Chapel, Notre Dame, St. Sulpice, Sacre Coeur and so on.... Take fairly some photos. you will not remorseful approximately it! experience the approach of existence. cut loose from the team and walk. walk in the process the Rue Cler. See what's likewise not touristy france. learn some well mannered words - Parisians would be appreciative which you're actually not the pig headed American that usually travels to France.

The natives speak French. But, like the rest of the planet, they are slowly learning English so you might be able to express yourself in English and still be understood. If you go to France in the summer, you'll probably be able to hear a lot of other languages too because France is a very touristic destination. German, Dutch, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Italian and Spanish are everywhere in the summer.

Why are you asking anyway? If you haven't got a clue what language they speak, ther is no time to learn the language anyway!
