I was only 2 months old when my mother became pregnant with my younger sister. She said it was much easier to carry my sister because her body was already conditioned for pregnancy. My sister turned out fine and my mother was fine too. It's not risk free (no pregnancy is) but it isn't overly dangerous either.

I think it's too soon actually. I just had a baby 6 months ago and I plan on having another in not less than 2 years. I have felt that my body has worn out during pregnancy, plus the enormous weight gain that I am facing! However, some people say it's better to have babies one after another and not to wait too long because they think that the mother will go through all the babies matters once and then she will be able to rest when they get older.

I think it's too soon but she'll probably be ok I like spacing my kids out because 1 baby at a time is fine with me changing 2 kids diapers and making 2 kids bottles forget that crap I think everyone should enjoy their baby for awhile before having another but my sister did the same thing she has kids 3,2,and almost 1.mine are 13, 6, 4, 2 and one on the way and I'm still going crazy.

My little boy is almost 6 months old and I`m about 11 weeks pregnant..(due to contraceptive malfunction!!) But this one will be born in the same month only a year apart!! I wish I would have had alittle more time but I wasn`t try to get pregnant , I was actually done!! Have 2 and that was enough but sometimes it`s not up to you I guess!!

yes it's too soon. She may or may not have difficulties. She never gave her womb time to heal from the last pregnancy. My sister did the same thing. Her babies will stay the same age for a month. she got pregnant with another baby when the other baby was 4 weeks old.

LOL, sounds just like me!! My daughter will be 6 months on January 12th, and I'm already 11 weeks pregnant, and don't get to see my OB doc till January 22nd.
I thought it was a a very short period of time, but I'll get through it.
I just heard that it's harder when you have kids this close together. As long as she takes care of herself well, and follows her doctors orders, she should be fine.

My son was 6 months old when I came out pregnant with my second. My pregnancy went fine with no complications during delivery. I'm sure she'll be okay.

your body does need at least 1yr to heal but it shouldn't be dangerous to have another one. My husbands best friends wife had there children 11 months apart and she had csections and she was fine. Its not recommended but it shouldn't be too harmful as long as she takes care of herself.

It's not dangerous. Some people go to their 6 week check-up after giving birth, only to find that they are pregnant again. Hey, if Britney Spears can do it, why can't your sister?

My mother was preg. with us(twins) 2mths after she gave birth to my older sister. We weighed approx. 6lbs each.

It is said that 1yr after is ideal for the mother's benefit. Because it takes approx. 1yr for her body get back to optimal health.
I would NOT say "it's dangerous"
