Without a doubt. We will also accrue more debt that American taxpayers will be saddled with for at least those who are alive today. The debt incurred by Bush could bury the American economy.

You took the words right out of my mouth - more to choose from. More targets, more dead Americans. If Bush gets his wish to send more troops in, watch the death toll rise rapidly - on both sides.

Short term: yes, we will lose more American lives and probably more Iraqi lives. It's like being in front of a firing squad. Just because you put more people in front of you, you're still eventually gonna get hit...and so are all the people you stuck in front of you.
Long term: no, more American troops will lend itself to a greater ability to hunt out and destroy insurgents as well as bring stability as a quasi-police force.
