Yeah. Just last week. Happens me and my friend Lou are driving through town, kinda f***** up and drunk as usual. An we got pulled over. Well, you got to know Deputy Charlie. Short little fellow with a big attitude. So anyway he's going on and on and on about about what a couple of low lifes me and Lou are. Like I haven't heard that s*** before a thousand times. Then Lou starts spouting off about how ugly Deputy Charlies' wife is and how he won't bother to kick his a** seeing as how small he is. So Deputy Charlie hauls off on Lou, misses him and lands one upside my head. Didn't really hurt, but it was irritating. You know what I mean? I suppose I did get hit for talking, even though it was somebody else doing it. And Deputy Charlie's wife really is ugly. Could explain a lot about his attitude.

Never punched but many years ago when I was a little schoolgirl,
I was cuffed in the back of my head by one teacher for chatting
too much.

When we were at school my friend got a severe clout in the face by a bible wielded by our maniacal Religious Instruction teacher. It was the first demonstration of the power of the good book and it made an impression on me ( and him !!)
