We should be very, very concerned. It might all seem nice in winter, but in summer when we are frying in sweltering heat waves and people are dying and God help us all if the power grids give out again and cause a huge black out like they did a few years back...that is when you will see major casualties.
And that is just us in civilized countries.
You know we will see more violent weather...ice storms and hurricanes and tornadoes and droughts.
The scary part is that drought ridden countries will become even drier, threatening the lives of the people that live there, as if they don't have enough problems looking for water each and every day.
It is very evident after watching "An inconvenient truth" how much the planet has changed. To see all those mountains once full of ice and snow barren, and to see how rapidly the antarctic deteriorated and that the same is happening in the arctic too, that massive icebergs are detaching and splintering off...it's not co-incidence or mother nature, it's us.
Much of California, Florida, New Orleans, and many places across the globe would be underwater, New York City and where the old WTC was as well....and don't think it's impossible that you won't see this in your lifetime it's very possible indeed. I think within the next 5-10 years people will realize the seriousness of this as they will witness many catastrophies and then drastic measures will have to be imposed, maybe even martial law as severe and extreme measures are taken.
The ozone hole in the artic has healed thanks to eliminating all those chemicals that were in our spray cans and used in manufacturing etc. (cant remember the chemical off hand) BUT the POLLUTION we are now putting into the air is creating a blanket and trapping the rays that should bounce back into space, and this layer is only thickening and increasing and trapping more heat on the planet each passing day, month, year until we take serious measures to drastically decrease the output from our vehicles and factories, etc.
This is the danger of global warming and why we must ALL do something. It's one planet, one layer of oxygen that covers it, and we all breathe that air and live under it.
We can do a lot but it has to come from corporations and government, from manufactureres and what we can do is let them know we're not happy with the pollution, garbage and wasted products and that they must recycle our resources rather than use them all up and throw them away.

In today's communication era the weather stations have to put out warnings, or everyone is complaining to the point of ridiculous! Your local TV and radio stations will keep you posted on what is coming and going around you. You can log on to the weather channel, or get the weather bug app for your smart phone. But to sit around and worry is just plain old silly.

I'm not really scared since I'm a big fan of warm weather but I imagine it can't be good for those environmentalists who are alarmed about the global warming and the impacts it'll have on the rest of the climate in terms of more natural disasters. That would be bad.

The Earth is recalibrating itself: Last year, we had a cold winter, and it's balancing itself out now. In January, it feels like the middle of April.

,Not really, it's just Mother Nature trying to fight back . We've mistreated her for so long. But its OK, if we are all wiped out ,life will find a way, it has done in the past , it will again.
