it happened on April 2, 1994, 3 hours before Easter.. I gave birth to the most important thing in the world..As I held hm that first time I KNEW I had finally done something right in my life. I was a parent for 6 years and everyday that I loved my son and hugged him and played with him was an investment in him.. Parenting is the best and most important job in the world.. I started getting an education when he was very small and now that he's gone I am trying to finish my degree.. I want him to be proud of me that I finallly finished (even though he won't be here to celebrate it with me)

Took three months off from work to stay by my Mothers side when she became ill and then passed away. This may sound cheesy to some but that time I spent with her was the most unselfish thing I have ever done. It taught me humility and to "let go and let God."

staying alive, when it would have been so easy to just slip away, a number of years ago. It's far stronger to choose to live when you want to give up.
