My mum is going for treament on Tuesday, and we have to travel on the train and walk to the place, but we have lost one of the steps of the wheelchair, we have looked everywhere for it, we rang "care matters" our local disabled wheel chair shop and they said they cant get us anything untill wednesday, but we need it for tuesday, can anyone help me with some ideas? or a way to slove the promblem?

get a belt and wrap it around the front post and hang down,then set it so it supports the foot when stepped in

Did you look in your car or at places she's visited recently. But wouldn't she have noticed it missing if she used it since the step was lost? So it must have been misplaced since you used it last. When did you use it last? That might help you remember where it might have been lost.

your local Red Cross will lend you a wheelchair. Their number will be in the phone book.
Also, notify the trian station in advance and they usually provide people to help you get up the stairs and on to the train.

your local british red cross will help you out with a chair or the step.they have them in all thier shops....
