where can i obtain a time switch 24 h4 to use with a washing merchine (most are only 2 amp inductive)?

all in DIY shops are not for use withe dishwashers/washers

If you want to hook your washing machine to an external timer, they make wall mountable timers for hot water heaters and other electrical products that will handle the electrical load.

Use any 13amp plug in timer from Homebase etc. which are rated to take 13amp load, or from any electrical supplier.
