Believe it or not the cramping pain you feel every 28 days is the EXACT same feeling of the beginning of labor. My experience tells me the two have nothing else in common. The level of pain in childbirth has a lot to do with your pain tolerance and your health. Your periods will get less painful after childbirth. Take 3 advil the day prior to your expected period, then after it starts take 2 every 4 hours. I love advil. It is a miracle drug.

I have painful periods. But my pregnancy and childbirth where great. Not to much pain in labor. I have friends who say the same thing. You should let your Dr. know about your periods. To make sure you don't have any other problems.

If you have painful periods due to a disease or disorder such as adenomyosis, endometriosis or fibroids, you may have difficulty getting pregnant without treatment; however, the pregnancy itself may temporarily alleviate some of the painful symptoms associated with the condition (i.e., the killer cramps of endometriosis). This is not to say pregnancy is curative as is mistakenly believed by some; it is not. However, it may confer temporary relief for some women. In any event, painful periods in and of themselves are not indicative of a painful labor (many women with endo, for instance, say that labor is actually easier and less painful than the endo pain itself) or difficult birth. There are some others with endo, fibroids, etc. who found the opposite to be true and have experienced complicated pregnancies as a result of the disease followed by a painful and risky birth, but *in general,* the pain of your period is not an absolute precursor to any future painful pregnancy or birth.

I surely have had 4 organic births using the Bradley approach. it works to cut back the discomfort. i think of you will locate that those different issues you have experienced have been worse than start. The crowning truly does harm, even yet it in basic terms lasts a couple of minutes. My contractions did no longer experience like menstrual cramps in any respect. Contractions are a lifeless, average soreness; no longer a pointy discomfort like a cramp. The discomfort feels greater like what you get in case you carry your mouth open very huge for a protracted time. hard artwork discomfort grew to become into worse than starvation pains, no longer as undesirable as a bad era, and not almost as undesirable as a leg cramp. seem for the e book, organic Childbirth the Bradley way. The e book even includes what you should prepare. nicely-known prepare is critical to having a mind-blowing start.

You are right its of no relevance. I have had two children (all be it 20 something years ago) and both were different pregnancies and deliveries. Each pregnancy is unique. Best bet is to realize that you will get through it no matter what and to concentrate on being in shape and healthy through the 40 weeks.

Best of Luck!

If you suffer from painful periods, it does not signify a bad birthing experience. Often after childbirth, this is corrected and periods become much less painful and more bearable. Its one of natures mysteries. HOWEVER.....getting pregnant to correct this is NOT the answer, GO SEE YOUR DOC!! I am sure he/she will be able to make things much easier for you.
