Britain has a unique system of power.
The House of Commons is voted in by Party by the General Public, but the House of Lords is NOT voted in by the public, but by the Queen in her knighthood list.
The House of Lords is the only non-voted government type in all democracy.
In theory, Yes, but no democracy is perfect. We still have 1 leader who can make his own decisions if he wants without public backing.

In theory. They elect representatives to the House of Commons, and the Prime Minister is chosen from among the elected MP's. What is not democratic about that?

The UK is a constitutional monarchy that uses democratic socialism. Democratic socialism is a mixture of socialism and capitalism. The benefits of social programs, however, are offset by very high taxes.
