I don't kow there was a lot of lame music this year but the number one on the charts was Bad Day by Daniel Powter. Personly I liked the Nickelback songs. Like Far Away, and If Every One Cared

There's loads:-
Crazy by Gnarles Barclay was a classic as was the Scissor Sisters record I Don't Feel like Dancing.
Also loved Turn Into by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs but I don't think it was a well known single - but a classic in my eyes.
Arctic Monkeys Mardy Bum was another, Dare by Gorrilaz......
