starting from the east, skaneateles, owasco, cayuga, seneca and keuka. these are the five commonly listed lakes sometimes there is a smaller listing with oneida, otisco, hemlock and cayuta. cross lake is not considered a part of the fingerlakes but they all drain into there via the seneca river and old erie canal. skan has highest elev @ 855+ft, cross lake @346 ft

A group of 11 elongated glacial lakes in west-central New York, including Cayuga and Seneca, the largest and deepest of the lakes.

Skaneateles Lake
Owasco Lake
Cayuga Lake
Seneca Lake
Keuka Lake
Canandaigua Lake

These seven are generally known as the finger lakes!

Conesus, Hemlock, Canadice, Honeoye, and Otisco are considered the MINOR Finger Lakes

Seneca lake is not 104 sq. miles. It's almost exactly the same size as Cayuga lake.
