In addition to the Glorious Revolution and the occupation of the Channel Islands by Germany in WW2 (which technically are a Crown Dependancy and not part of Great Britain, but we will let that pass) there was an (unsuccessful) invasion of West Wales by a small French detachment during the Napoleonic Wars

Japan. Until WW2 no foreign power had ever occupied any of its territory. Great Britain had some home territory occupied during WW2 (an Island off the coast)

I'd say "Japan". Hadn't they been closed to foreign influence for 1,000 yrs? Kubla Khan TRIED to invade Kyushu in 1281, I thought 3 separate times, but the "Divine Winds", Kami Kazi, destroyed their armadas and they never touched Japanese soil.
Then July 14,1853, US naval officer Matthew Perry forced Japan open its port near Yokosuka, to avoid Perry's bombardment.. He wanted to establish a whaling base there. The Convention of Kanagawa was signed March 31, 1854.

Good question.

The English like to think they have not been invaded since 1066 but, in reality, the period is a lot shorter as they invited William of Orange to invade and take over the monarchy as part of the Glorious Revolution in 1688.

Irrespective of this, even if 1066 is taken to be the last time it was invaded it still does not qualify as the oldest uninvaded country.

According to tradition, San Marino is known as the world's oldest republic. The tiny republic was founded by a Christian stonemason named Marino (or Saint Marinus) on September 3, in the year 301 C.E.

I'd say Great Britain. The last successful attack was by the Normans in 1066.
